Operate a poultry carcase delivery system


Application

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to plan, set up and operate a carcase delivery system to deliver birds to the packaging area to meet production orders.

This unit applies to individuals who apply basic operating principles to the operation and monitoring of a carcase delivery system in a poultry production environment.

All work must be carried out to comply with workplace procedures, in accordance with State/Territory food safety, work health and safety, and environmental codes, regulations, legislation and standards that apply to the workplace.

No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.

1. Prepare the poultry carcase delivery system for operation

1.1 Select and load computer program to suit product requirements

3. Hand over system operation
